Can't believe I've never been here. Lots of seating, there's a front room and back room. Got seated in the back in a booth, not the best seating as the back cushions moves around, but that's not important, the food! Lots of options. You get 4 broths. Tomato was as expected and good. Sukiyaki was good, not too sweet like other places. Miso was a little salty but as you'd expect. Wish the Tom yum had more flavor to it, but still decent. The beef wagyu was soo good, very meaty and not too fatty. Love places with a sauce bar. Service was super friendly. You order from an iPad on the wall, and all the food comes out quickly. Definitely will be back again!

Had a really good time here! It was $75 ish pre tip and there were ALOT of options. There's an iPad you select items on and they bring it your way. Each order starts with four soups with the first you order being the smallest in the middle. The associates are all really nice and kept coming back with water refills and to take our dirty plates off the cart. The inside is ambient with interesting music choice. Will be back!

This place was a nice, quiet (at least when I went) AYCE hot pot place. The ordering was really convenient with a touch screen on the wall, and the service was fast. The broth and ingredients were good too - relatively well flavored and quality items with a good diverse selection for both broths and ingredients (and you can get up to 4 different broths, which is great!) The price is steeper as a result, and the place itself is on the smaller side and darker inside. Overall though, would return for a AYCE hot pot experience in the city: 4.5/5 (rounded up to be nice:))

A great experience at an AYCE Chinese hot pot restaurant! I enjoyed their diy sauce bar, and it includes the satay BBQ sauce! What I liked the most was the easy ordering system, and staff were quick to fulfill orders and clear plates away. I also enjoyed that we were able to choose 4 soup options, usually restaurants just give you 2! All this for 36$ pp. Don't forget to check in on yelp for sake although my friends took advantage of this part on my behalf. Would def come back!

Love how this place has a unique setup where you can do hotpot with 4 different soups to try out various flavors. My favorite was the miso soup which I don't think I've ever tried at a hot pot place before. Meats and veggies selection is pretty big and all tasty. They have an electronic pad where you can order that makes the process really streamlined and easy. Food comes out pretty fast and they are very friendly. Overall had a great time.

WOW, what an AYCE gem in SF! [PROS] - $35.95pp - Get to choose 4 different broths. We picked tomato, tom yum, miso, and sukiyaki. - Meat quality is good. We stayed with beef and lamb which were both great. - Service was good. Food was brought out quickly - iPad ordering system was efficient - Variety of toppings/veggies/etc. We liked the shrimp paste, fish balls with roe, fish cake [CONS] - Tight/small sauce bar causes a build-up of people in line waiting to get sauces. Can be a pain point if you're dining during peak hours. There's only one sauce bar and only 2 people can use it at one time. - Flies can be seen hovering around which is annoying Parking: Street parking Tip: Check in on Yelp for free cold sake! Overall, very happy I discovered Boiling Hot Pot during my last visit to SF. Will be back!

Came here with my roommate to grab hot pot on a cold night. They seated us right away even though the store wasn't too big We ordered everything on the screen and I was surprised by how we could get 4 different broths! Store inside was on the smaller side but it felt nice and home-y. Service was nice since they came to check in on us and the sauce bar was pretty stacked with various flavors! I wish they had a bit more veggie options and better quality vegetables but the meat was pretty good - especially the beef! Would definitely

Nice AYCE hot pot spot that opens from noon. You don't see a 4-way split pot like Boiling very often, and it's great for a group meal. Soup bases were nice, but leaned more on a lighter flavor side. Definitely a place that benefits from their good sauce bar options. We primarily tried their meats, which were good quality, but also not the amongst the best I've had. If you prefer lean cuts, their wagyu beef has nice flavor and decent marbling. Their beef toro is definitely the highlight for me for melt-in-mouth, but the cuts also seemed a bit too unevenly fat. Services though, was nice. You order in a touch pad and the food gets delivered pretty quickly. We ordered after we completely finished each round and there was not much of a delay. Overall good hangout spot!
